In revolt of this alarming trend, we created our Palais Moderne Resting Bench. As elegant to behold as it is to use, this end-of-bed seat is more than just a convenient spot to set your briefcase. In order to pump up the comfort, we took the time to double wall the padding and heighten the seat pad before upholstering in premium Oatmeal Linen. Hand rails are both decorative and scaled for resting your back, draping a jacket or, in a pinch, tying a shoe. Understated curves highlight the simplicity of its go-anywhere design, and reinforce the streamlined character of the updated Modern frame. And although you didnt hear it from us, the 27" high seat also makes a great step stool for little furry friends who cant quite make the leap from floor to bed.
