nies to overcome. However the CTH Sherrill company through integration, cooperation and collaboration with sister divisions, and maintaining a highly skilled work force, have helped the company not only survive, but thrive.
With the acquisition of Hickory White in 1997, CTH Sherrill further enhanced active operations, acquired its own lumberyard, kiln driers, and rough mill that process 10 wood species. This facility provides 100% of the lumber for occasional lines and to ensure it is kept evolving and facilities operating at peak efficiencies, the company recently partnered with North Carolina State University’s Wood Machining & Tooling Research Program (WMTRP).
